Repeat Sets & Penalties

Is there actually anyone that records which team receives the most amount of repeat sets? I'd like to know which NRL side gets the most and which side gets the least.

I'd also wouldn't mind knowing which referees tends to award them the most and how many tries are scored from repeat sets and especially inside the 10 metre line. I could be incorrect here but I'm sure Manly scored more of their tries after repeat sets and penalties

The majority of these repeat sets I have seriously zero idea what they're given for and watching last week's game where there were far less repeat sets and the game was allowed to flow and decide itself was far more enjoyable to watch.

It would be a very interesting stat to find out regarding these repeat sets and what results they play in the outcome of matches

  • It's hard enough to win away.
but idiot refs like Gough likes the home crowd to go home happy.
we definately need more information than "ruck infringement"

the game is based on fatigue. Refs decide who wins way too easily now. The ref ruined what could of been a really good game yesterday.

and the square up penalties late in the game to even the stats??? Absolutely shits me.

    • Yep, it just seems to be getting out of hand and yet the Rugby League media don't seem to bring it up enough to give the NRL hierarchy a shake. More accountability is needed

    • I was at the game..... what's your guesstimate on the 6 agains? I didn't notice there were that many. Maybe because I spent portions of that game going to the bathroom, getting drinks and food for the kids throughout

  • In this game there was a six again given that was called at the end of a long set. It was as if the ref thought a tackle had been made and somehow Parramatta was offside after a tackle that never happened. For me the refs especially this one loses it mentally during the game and just singles 6 again.
