Refs well done

Did anyone notice in yesterday's game that the refs are pulling up players for walking off the mark where tackled and playing the ball. My pet hate in today's game for the past couple of seasons is when a player gets tackled goes to the ground then stands up takes two or three steps forward then plays the ball. This is one part of the game where the top teams have been pushing the boundaries of a ruling just to get there team on a roll on. Keep it up refs well done.

Taylor got a penalty from getting up and walking a few steps into the marker.

That really cheesed me off but for most of the match the refs did pick up on it.

Just wondering if anyone at the game can confirm those two crucial inside the 10 penalties against us that led to tries. From memory they were the only 2 inside the 10 penalties in the whole game. So basically they weren't inside the 10 once.

What about when Taylor got tackled and then blatantly threw the ball in the air and got a penalty?

We did get a fair bit of 50/50 calls. We don't even get that at a home game.

Very true. They do that and then when the marker has to run back and remark he gets penalized if he tackles the dummy half. The markers should hold their ground and let them move off the mark then appeal.

  Yes DS it all about getting in the refs ear about walking off the mark. GI is a genius at it he only takes one step forward to play the ball but because he's built like a giraffe he's well and truly A metre or more in front of where the ball went to ground. This in turn helps his team get a roll on

They should be penalised for doing it blatantly..my pet hate.. Don't tell them to go back blow a penalty
