Yup, funny how Gould tangled that captaincy carrot to lure Mahoney and now done the same thing with Crichton.

I'm sure that's what they're telling Reed, this is good so he can focus on his game etc. But it's undeniable that Gould dangled the carrot to get Reed to the Dogs, now he's whipped the carrot away and given it to another new recruit. Reed is a quality 9 no doubt but I said it at the time and still do, he'll regret leaving the Eels for a wooden spoon club just for a couple of extra dollars. At the end there wasn't much in it, Reed was just in love with Gus and his BS. Silly boy.
He's not enjoying himself. Winning may change that.
