Ryles states he is is no rush to make signings! I am sorry, but we have an L plate coach who sees no rush? Really, we are second last on a ladder. We will be lucky to avoid the spoon. Unless something changes we have no change on last season, despite the fact that I do see improvements in the squad, but we are still way off the mark. I am stunned by this statement and we must have so much money available for the right players to improve this squad yet we appear to be doing risky squat! I truly hope there are some things going on in the background but if we keep status quo, we are in a word of pain for years to come. The fact that we still have no decent replacement for Dylan Brown says it all. I am getting beyond frustrated. We lack serious impact forwards and a quality 6 and centre. Are we just sitting and hoping or is the Club going to come up with something? One concerned and frustrated life long eels fan here.

Heard some interesting news this morning in regards as to why galvin rejected parra. Basically galvin has a get out clause after 2026 and can join bears as their marquee signing. He rejected parra because ryles refused his clause. Heard this from my client who is close to a tigers board member and two player agents.
Why would he want to go to the bears of all places.
Right now he's in a premiership window with a team on the way up.
What'll happen is his pay will continue to rise as his career progresses.
If Gus has his way no hope in hell he leaves the Dogs anytime soon.
It's what I was told.
How reliable is the source?
Very reliable. He was one of the sponsors use to give a car to one of the players from his car yard. He said parra basically had him then last minute they threw the clause in the contract. Ryles basically said no it's a 3 year deal your here for the 3 years. Dogs agreed on the clause and then moses tried to get more money out of parra but ryles said no.
Even the 6mill he rejected over 5 years he wanted clauses in that contract but tigers wouldn't do it either.
So is Canterbury a quick stop off for a comp then go to be the face of Perth?
Kendoza i just do not see how Gus would allow it, not saying you are lying as i do not know myself. just trying to wrap my head around it.
LB I can understand because I'm confused to. And I doubt gus will allow it either.
Gus has stated on camera that he would never offer a player only option"I don't do them, as all the power is with the player manager".
So the way Gus operates he probably did give him the option. hahaha
Gus would make a great politician. Loves to bullshit.
