Been meaning to pen this blog for a while, KA just reminder me with his selection of him as a dogs player he'd like to sign, KA's spot on, Mariner would be a great buy and he wouldnt be on huge coin.

Message to Brad Arthur, if you already havnt please take a good look at this kid.

He can break the line, offload, hes a thinking forward always looking for 2nd phase play, hes hungry and loves the hard stuff.

Has been playing 2nd row and lock but wouldnt be out of place in the front row if needed i reckon if he bulked up a bit, hes 105kg as it stands.

Id love him at Parra and think hes got a lot of potential, he'd kill it under Brad, if we are looking for a player from the bulldogs fire sale this guy would be a great signing.

  • He is one of their, if not the best forward. He runs hard and tries his heart out. He averages over 9m a run, which is not bad, considering he gets little play time. He can be a danger man if he comes into a decent team like ours, understand coach who identifies potential in players.

The only player I'd want from the Dogs team.
  • Great attack - what is his defence like?

But he would have to come in at the expense of Mannah, Matagi or Terepo
    • Mannah for me
  • The only bulldog I'd like in blue and gold. Totally undervalued by Desi
  • Only problem is I don't think he would be one on any decent coin for the dogs to release him .
  • I thought Snake may have an ulterior motive
  • You are right Brett, I'd have him as a future Manu replacement (being 29)
    • When do you expect Manu to retire?
Don't think Mariner will wait that long
      • I'd replace him as soon as Manu slows down. He is playing top footy now but how long will he maintain it? 2 more years at most me reckons
  • The good thing is that it's getting desperate for the dogs now.. Every little bit helps. Unless they can bully the NRL, I can't see them getting Foran. Imagine Foran unemployed... Now that would be sweet irony.

A few wins and suddenly all is well according to the board and then they extend BA for a few more years.
Rinse repeat and the problem will continue with no end in sight."
