It's not an easy path, but it's better than the other side of the draw for us.
The Raiders have confidence and form to burn, but I still think we're a better side on paper (with Moses). The challenge will be we play similar styles - forward driven power game with lots of offloads to break defensive lines. So whichever set of forwards dominate will likely win.
If there was ever a time to throw caution to the wind and have another forward on the bench to provide fresh legs, surely this is it. If Moses or Brown go down, move Gutho into the halves and Blake to cover FB shifting Marata to cover centre and slide Penisini to wing. That's a better coverage plan than carrying JA on the bench.
Then if we beat the Raiders it's a very tough trip up north. The Cowboys have such free flowing attack, we will have to play disciplined footy and win the game early, if we leave it too late the heat will sap out energy and we'll lose all creativity in attack. If we lead the Cows 60 mins in I'd back us to be able to hold them out with tired defence, but if we're behind with 20 to go I'd say we'll be too buggered to catch up.
90% humidity, 38degrees, then if by miracle parra wins they have to fly back and suit up for a GF. No chance!!!
The game will be at night, don't think it will be that hot. More like 23 degrees and 70% humidity.
