Bottom Line
Despite the Eels' recent dominance against the Dragons at CommBank, the Dragons won the last meeting at WIN Stadium.
Most games between these teams lately have been fairly high-scording but close affairs decided by single-digit scores.
The Bookies and history says the Eels, especially at home and on Sundays. But recent results suggest the matchup could go either way, depending on who wants it more.
The Eels’ new left edge with Pezet could again come under fire and be a weak link to be addressed. The Dragons imploded under the pressure applied by the Storm, and ironically their left edge leaked the most tries of any team last year.
This should be a tough game and a good test for the Eels' character, especially as they are expected to win. If it turns into another one-point heart attack at CommBank, Parramatta’s best cardiologists may need to open a 24-hour branch inside the stadium.

Nice to win but Parra still struggling in the middle. They are so much dominated today by the Dragons props and backs. I just can't see us winning with Penrith next week, but miracles do happen. Hope next week will be a big improvement in our go forwards.
Paulo is not what he used to be since age might have been creeping up. He is no longer his old powerful self. He now tends to jog a bit before running into the defence. Koloamatangi could have been a better fit but that ship had sailed. Go Parra!!!
It's a win but this team is miles away from the top sides,what I saw today was much of the same I've seen all year.
Our middle is not soft but there is no way we have the middles to win a comp and you can see why the FO went hard for Kolomatangi and Barnett we need that guy in the pack.

The defense disconnected all over the place winning the collision if the dragons had a half decent halves and or spine they win this game easily.Ryley Smith got bullied again and they came down the pipe one out and we had no answer.

Simonsson in yardage the hit and spin is getting him yardage after contact and he's finding his front and getting decent play the ball speed also.
Guymer asked to defend at centre brave and did his best I can live with honest effort clearly being asked to do a job way out of his comfort zone.
Dylan Walker busy high workrate but I didn't like the move of starting him and he's the key for us and unlocking our halves.In fact he's the key to Parra's attack not Moses not Pezet not Iongi it's Walker his run pass selection gets the halves into space and has the best short pass selection of all of them even short passes to fowards.
Special Mention TDS your service was better this week you made a lot of impact in the short stint you did have against 12 men could potentially have been the most important time and swung the game back our way with your scoot try from dummy half.Still need to see more.Was that hit on Haas last week a fluke.
Got to get our middle and ruck defense soughted it's way to loose and there was a distinct lack of linespeed this week.We got let off the hook with the Dagons errors and got a nice call with the penalty try.We were the better side but I think we are still a long way away from being what we want to be.
Agree with all that. I'm with you on Pezet. He sucks and simply doesn't deserve to own the 6 jersey like he is doing so far. We don't owe him anything, he's here for 1 year and so far he's well below what we need. I wonder how long before JR decides to put some game experience into the next generation rather than persist with Pezet. There's literally no point persisting if he's not delivering and is a liability.
I would say Joash is a better defender at 5/8 than Pezet

Dylan Brown is very badly missed defensively, we have a clear weakness in our line being exploited - but also in attack in creating any space for our outside backs - Pezet is trying but lacks the speed & footwork to keep defences on him. When he runs, he is easily covered. He had quite a few chances to create overlaps today but lacked the ability to execute.
Jonah is young, and to his credit has some nice skills - will likely get there? It's not personal, but honesty feel we'd be better off with Joash there & Pezet as a backup 7.
Joash is defensively much better as EA said, and has some x-factor / pace to create in attack.
Better teams will execute a lot of points through our left side (as Melbourne did).
