To the boys who have qualified the referreing on their postings on various blogs and mediums after Saturday's night of infamy.
I agree completely, it was the worst unabashed biased referreeing since Keith Page was supporting Perc Galea's (famous punter and Roosters supporter) corruption of the 1960's.
It was not a case of the fix was in, the only possible two excuses were the instructions the referree was given, meaning no "quarter" to Parra or his absolute incompetence.
When we actually led 6-4 just after half time, you could sense the panic in officialdom that the Royal Family of Tonga and to the coaching from the the Fox commentary team mentioning constantly the hope for Toupo to be blessed with tries, because he is such a "bloody good bloke".
It was in total one of the most disgusting and one eyed piece's of Rugby league since Klein took up betting on greyhounds because he was too stupid to be able to win on football games (yes I know he was not the ref for this one), but insanity is catching and obviously a prerequisite for qualifying in a NRL referree's resume.
Hang your heads in shame Broadcasters and NRL officialdom alike.
This little Black Duck is not blinded by your arrogance in getting away with it!
PS NRL...you are lucky I am rusted on, otherwise you would lose me!

Watch Hannay's presser after the Titans loss last night. He basically said that the decisions they got were dependant on who they are (Storm) vs who they are (Titans). At least he called it out, wonder if he will get fined.
The performance on Saturday was substantially worse, yet Ryles says nothing. I truly think we are being punished for the stance the club took on Lomax. But I will say this, there's a whole bunch of young guys who absolutely had a crack despite the very one sided officiating and they hung in till they were inevitiably fatigued. I took a lot out of it for the future.
Totally agree about the players effort on Saturday night.....4 nil at half time was nigh on superhuman.
Hannay is right but I would prefer to see Ryles saying something less but also being meaningful.....such as "we will be going through the correct channels, but needless to say we would like a number of answers on the referreeing front".
Cannot see how he can get in trouble but a message is given.
PS I don't want to believe it but the Lomax thing is very current and very obvious.....Parra as a club could do worse and say so, say releasing all the correspondence......I am a person that leads with my chin and I would be doing that.....a smarter and wiser person would say, making a comment like that will only be making it worse.
What I would do if I was Chairman, would be going one off to Vlandys and saying this has gone on long enough, when will this vindication end!!!!!....... do you realise the damage you are doing where the heart of the game lives......if you think it's in the Eastern Suburbs with your mates from Foxtel, I think you are very short sighted.....people have a tendency of voting with their feet!
Hannay also said going through the 'channels' during the week is even more a waste of time than doing it after the game. I guess Ryles think this year is about getting NRL games up for the younger guys and like Hannay said, you are wasting your time. The Lomax thing is real, they are still pissed about it.
The funny thing is, my partner is a Storm supporter, and she reckons that Howarth is surplus to requirements (she puts him in the same frustrating category of Olam and she was glad to see the back of him). The rumblings I hear is that it seems the Storm think so too especially now that Xerri is signed. How the wheel turns. They could have given us Howarth, they'd get Lomax and we wouldn't be going through all this BS. Storm may not even make the 8 this year.
Hannah was completely correct. Good on him. Actually watching felt for Titans as know how it feels. Low on table = easily fixed to what suits nrl.
that try by Howarth was a stinker amongst others.
If Ryles had nothing to say re this game which never really expected he would, or us vs wests or dogs then he ain't ever gonna speak up. And we will continually be on bad end of decisions as dished up.
Ryles needs to speak up and if he gets fined so be it. This disgraceful corrupt refereeing will not cease until coaches start speaking up and exposing the blatant corruption. Look at the current corruption in the FIFA World Cup Soccer and the extent the Egyptian coach went to too expose the refereeing of their match against Argentina. If the corruption in the NRL is to be dealt with adequately then people need to speak up
Reckon many fans are seeing it exactly the same way Poppa.
Nrl couldn't have bottom of table parra, spoiling the big Roosters Toupou fairytale...the supporting fox commentary was totally sickening.
I can see a strategy to get out of this pattern Poppa. Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to come up with each week with Poppa's Best Bets and we can play the NRL gambling game, based on backing us to be on the wrong end of 6 agains, penalty counts and other exotics. There are some savvy gamblers and AI exponents on here, so lets make use of them to work out where we have been dudded this year and place bets accordingly, backing ourselves to be on the wrong end of these penalty counts and decisions. Maybe there are exotics that can include what area of the field we will be penalised against in each half? You will have access to this info Chief? Let the bookies put pressure on the NRL via the punters winning by backing some of these exotics, especially against the NRL darlings. You can then report on your exotics each Monday as a regular feature. Don't think that the media won't pick up on this regular feature. This message will self destruct Poppa.
Ah! Tragic, good too see you posting mate ...... I love a Mission Impossible! that said the A Team could have an influence with "I love a plan, when it comes together". Lol
You know PT if we could get enough responses on here and send them to our CEO then maybe we can get a message across as an aside to being just "mad irascible fans"
You are right Poppa.
Adam Gee served it up to us, Grant Atkins followed instructions to nullify the Knights and Titans coach Hannay put his objection out their.
It's rife. This favouritism for the "In group," is evident to all, but no one within the area of power is willing to rock the boat.
We can only hope the clubs when they meet at season end carry the day and put an end to biggest blight on the game, the farcial 6again rule.
In these matches that celebrate an event, the outcome is decided before the start and follow the strategy of "Joy for all."
I recognise that as a "Tell" and that will in future able me to take advantage on the beloved instituiton SportsBet.
