Forgive me, I need to get this off my chest!

Yes the cattle is a problem, we knew that in probably every game we have won this year, just the same! I am/was devastated last night, the effort against Titans was probably a low point of the season ......so far?     BUT I actually saw some effort in last nights game !!!!.....that's why it hurts more than normal after a loss. Yes I know people will laugh at that but what I cannot accept is the execution....lack of focus and the giving up of the ball

......The inability to realise with Melb making so many errors, there was a real opportunity to beat them. Even at 10 - 4 after half time and us butchering 2 tries in 5 minutes, we could still win this game with 20 minutes to go!

Now Melb were atrocious as well, I said to my wife that Bellamey must be thanking god his team was playing Parramatta.

I can get over most things Parramatta and have made horrible statements about them in the past, but there was something special in that game....a new level of ineptness, not courage or passion, just a junior team making errors that confounds me. I think I am writing this blog to purge myself.....I think we hit a new low.....I can only imagine what Ryles and his staff must think, like, its not like it was bad coaching, you couldn't coach a side to drop balls, miss tackles and position themselves as badly as they did.

Player's that excelled previously like Volkman and TDS showed why they are fringe players, I have no doubt now that we will see Pezet back in the side ahead of Volkman. Volkman only has to look in the mirror with a lot of his mates if they ever manage to be honest with themselves about being First Grade Footballers.

Oh! Parra, why have you forsaken us! LOL..... there are worse things of course...... to our knowledge no one died in that game, but you never can be sure if we lost a few supporters during it!

I know a few old blokes up in heaven who would be pretty grumpy this morning.

        • Sorry Malee, what part of "do us all favour and piss off" didn't you understand ?

PS Who are you reffering to in your disqualified blog.....I made no comment on it, other what's in this blog, Bourbon Man is one of the most respected posters on here and whilst his language is maybe not desirable it would seem to have very apt qualifications of you.

        • What language has you blushing sweetie?...surely not the part where he told you to "piss off"? He didn't even call you a Fuckwit or a Shitgibbon or a thinskinned nancy-boy

  • I was listening to TCT and they are correct. At full strength who in our line up is a top 10 in their position? Moses and  Fox? Maybe Iongi scrapes in? That's such a shit roster and the club need ti start pointing figures. Cause right now don't expect elite talent to join us because they are useless. Have to hope our juniors develop into elite players

    • Yes, it rang true didn't it EA? Moses and Fox would be the only two in the Top 10. And neither would be No 1 on that list.

My bigger issue with the juniors is that we have played this song before - we have pinned our hopes to juniors who have all either failed to kick on, or have gone to other clubs.

Right now we are not a junior talent club, or a "buy the best" club. We are neither and are increasingly looking like a "accept what we have and hope for the best" club. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's a very sad state that we're back here.

Yes it's just a game, and no this doesn't set the tone for my week or my general happiness. But it sure is disappointing none the less.

      • That's the problem even if we create elite talent, are they even going to stay at the club?

    • Who is accountable for thos situation where the club is spending the full cap yet we have one or maybe 2 elite players.

They are not correct because they don't make anyone accountable.

    • I note the hesitation in this post EA, I think I understand and share with you how motivated our juniors are when they see the FG performances......keep up the good work EA, I do not always agree with some of your opinions, but that's what makes a forum like this..... just remember you are not on your lonesome not agreeing with me either.....some could say join the queue LOL..... Living in Qld and not seeing our juniors makes it very difficult for me.....you are the life line for everybody that lives outside the boundaries. Personally I have had a lot to do with Junior Sport Development and it is always dear to me!

"scary thought Randy.. I gather its pretty clear it will be CTE.  I know frustrating but it is good the game has tried to instil a risk minisation approach with head knocks (except the Tongan medical team of course)"
