Poor leadership from Gallen cost sharks

Ok I will say it. Greedy Gallen strikes again. Gallen should be stood down as captain after his leadership against NQ. There is no role for that type of performance from him in semi final football. Did he really think that the forwards could win the game by themselves?

  • Im pretty sure it was round 25, and he costed them the game by giving away a penalty in front of the post
  • Gallen would have to be one of the least deserving players to have ever won a premiership.
    • And an Origin

  • Jeez the sharks fans are blowing up deluxe on social media. Doesn't help when ur coach goes to the pressed with a list of incidents to blame the ref and do and doesn't even get them right and for everyone that he stated you could find a cowboys equivalent. The refereeing has been terrible all year and not surprisingly again in the finals, they blew it simple as that and Gallen definitely contributed rather than playing for the penalty he plays the ball they kick a field goal and win, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Maybe Flanagan needs to look in his own backyard..
  • The selfish way he plats was always going to one day result in a heavy price to pay.
Even if he hadn't have lost the ball he still cost his team an opportunity for the feild goal when they were set for it.
Flanagan can whinge all he likes, the Cows shouldn't have been anywhere near the Sharks and yet they won.
The Sharks were terrible and didnt deserve to win.
  • They played a lot of very dumb football. They have been all year.

Their coach just doesn't want to see it.

  • They were beaten by a bad decision like us full stop!
  • They complete at 65 percent cowboys about 80 that's where it was won cowboys game themselves every chance to win because they respected the ball
  • This week has highlighted exactly how bad the officials are in this game that for sure . Rounds 1-26 when everyone has another game next week it kinda gets swept away , but when there's only 4 games to look at and teams are being eliminated all eyes are on these incompetent clowns .
    • I could be wrong, but I don't recall much controversy from the Roosters Broncos game, so 1 out of 4 ain't bad. To be fair a 25% satisfaction rate is probably an improvement from what we've seen across the whole season.
