Poor decisions continue to taint finals series

Broncos did enough to win tonight but FFS they had help from some poor refereeing. Adam Blair should have been binned for slowing the ruck down and laying over the player trying to get a quick play the ball. Should have been penalised multiple times especially when defending on the Broncos line. The call of panthers knock on from the high ball leading to Broncos 1 pointer was rubbish. What a momentum changer. This game doesn't mean sweet FA after all as Melbourne will put the Broncs to the sword but I hope those sh1t calls don't end up deciding the GF.

  • Both teams were laying all over the opposition. It was a lay fest, but an entertaining game and the Broncos deserved to win.
  • I thought it was a boring game. Not much skill on display

  • Worst decision was when Corey Oates was injured. Referee stopped the play when the Panthers had the line wide open and certain try.

However I have said here a number of times. Panthers have some star players but little experience. So much ball inside the Broncos 20 metre zone and could not score.

As good as Nathan Cleary is and a certainty SOO player of the future, not sure if he is quite ready for it yet.

    Can't see Broncos beating Storm

    • John what about the other 27 Bronco's injuries? When did we start stopping playing every time a player falls over. Seemed like every time the pressure was back on Broncos one of them would lie down and the ref would stop play. Panthers had no chance cos Broncos had their line set everytime after a nice little rest.
      • Are you suggesting the game is rigged Tentonz?
    • Corey Oates injury was play on, it is not the Refs duty to determine the degree of injury, if play allowed to continue, medical help would have arrived not two seconds later
    • Sure elec. eel , however 4 secs later a try would have been scored whilst langer and co would have still run on anyway
  • Penrith weren't good enough. They started the season as premiership favourites and played like premiership favourites for maybe one or two halves of footy this year. They received some very favourable calls last week but didnt get them this week. Not that i thought the referee overly favoured the Broncos tonight. Penrith didn't deserve the right to get a shot at a grand final spot and were lucky to get to  this game. They were just not good enough this year.

  • Not the refs fault that both teams played shit. On that performance Melb is laughing all the way to the GF.
    • The Roosters and us are the only teams that really worry the storm.
