Rugby Australia are set to table a 10 million dollar 5 year deal to poach Joseph Suaalli away from Rugby League.
The Roosters worked hard to pinch Suaalii from South Sydney with the 19 year old intended to be the successor of James Tedesco in the coming years.
This season we have got to see glimpses of the early hype and he seems to get better every game. Roosters chairman Nick Politis will need to make him an offer he can't refuse, to stop him taking an offer he can't refuse.
Id love nothing else for this to come true, but somehow I think he'll stay at the Roosters for 'less'.

This is a tactic from the Roosters PR department in order to make their offers to superstars appear to fit under the cap
As always the NRL will make an exception for the Rorters and come up with the excuse that he is an elite player. The fact they could get him from Souths in the first place smells. I do not think he will be a great Rugby player but is brilliant in NRL.
No way he will knock back that amount of money. NRL cannot come close to $2m a season for any player. Suaalli is a talent. He will kill it in Rugby where they can't tackle. Haven't seen a 19 year old kid that big, strong, tough and skilful before. I think RA will throw some cash to his mate Penisini as well, and he'll take it.
Maybe not a 19 year old, but an 18 year old Izzy Folau was pretty handy
He is a good player already at jst 19, $2mil a year wld be very hard to decline. Rugby Aus pretty desperate, not sure I'll tune in to watch him tho..
He'll stay at the Roosters for $300k a year and talk about how he's happy to accept unders to keep the team together.
I hear he is quite the golfer.
He and uncle Nick are having a round together just before November 1st
Muttman,
There's no way anybody would reject a $2m offer from rugby to sign up for 300k.
The only unders he'll be getting from the Rorters are under-the-tables.
And plenty of it.
I hope this comes true, stuff the roosters plus it would be good to see the Aussies have some more talent in union
Has the ARU not learned their lesson ?
