Player Injuries

Is it just a co-incidence but has the team suffered badly by the loss of Ma'u.

Or is the loss of Peats the main contributor. (In saying this I think the performance of IDG has been good)

Or the loss of both have markedly affected the team balance & performance.

  • The loss of these two guys has been huge for us. But I also think losing both Sio and Hoppa has really had a damaging impact. That side is the favoured side of Hayne to attack on, and you can see he is quite often thrown off when he goes out that way.
  • Missing those 4 guys big time. Our right side is affected the most.
  • Peats.
  • Both aggressive players and both are sorely missed.

The lack of agro on the field without these two has been evident in the past few matches although Kenny Edwards is doing his best to fill the void.

  • Defensive line speed has suffered massively without NP.

  • IDG adds nothing to the squad

  • Good player just needs to work on a few aspects of his game.
  • You'd think Timmy Mannah should be dictating the line speed?

If you have a look at the Broncos match then the past 2 matches you can see a massive difference.

This is where Mannah as a captain needs to set the standard.

    • Problem is though that firstly Mannah was carrying an injury against Newcastle and secondly he's not on the field for 80 minutes. The hooker should be setting the line speed as they play 80 minutes in the middle.

  • Our line speed was being led by Peats. I believe that if he had have played against Newcastle, we would've won.
