  • None within the club none zero nada.

There all a couple of years away.

Parra will have to go to market.

    • We could buy Munster for 1.5m or Luau for 1.45m or Twiddle from our cup side for .25, of course if he succeds he will get an offer for 1.2m, so we will be back to square one.....Moses will leave, Hopwood will go, Iongi will go as well and JAC won't hang around with no halves.....yep we have a plan?..... not sure it will work though.

PS I wonder if the next club offering big money to DB will offer an option that his management will ask for as a condition of staying or leaving.....I heard one club will offer that and worry about it in 3 years time when it becomes due......Parra is putting an option to bid 1.75m per year for the next 5 years trying to get Dyllan back.

      • Realy Pops, what a load of shit. Dylan Brown is not the Nucleus of Parramatta.  His ya average six who apparently has one or two clubs desperately needing a six. I think Moses is more into Lomax now then Brown.

At Parramatta Brown is easily replaced, might not be a clone, but Eels have 3 potntional six,s in the ranks. They have 12 mths to replace him.

        • I didn't say he was a Nucleus, just irreplaceable.

It would seem that some others out think he must be ok as well. O'Sullivan is no mug!

          • Yes Newcastle are desperate for a decent half, they have 5 average contenders. And no leader or game manager up front. Problem I'd Dylan will never be a seven or a game manager. So far that's a proven fact.

          • Just my opinion going on his failed attempt to play in the seven and lead. Fact.

What are you going on, let me guess potential. Or your tremendously awesome brain. Do you have a big head attached to your neck.

              • You seem a bit upset Graham, not sure why given our long term discussion's over DB and his value (price). Remember we argued about how much you pay him before he delivers his potential. Also remember that the market is the last price dealt.

Who's winning that debate is an aside i.e. we paid 500k early on before he did anything. He is now worth twice that and the relativeness of the first price is justified on the basis of keeping him. The next question faces a much larger bridge with the same gamble. i.e. does he fullfil it or fail. That's subjectivity.

My point and opinion is he is irrreplacable, it would seem that others outside our club have similar views. It has nothing to do whether he is a game manager or not, we see him as a 6 being irreplacable and not as a 7 as Michael W points out.

Your points have no validity from a Parra perspective as to whether he meets someone else's reasons. We are not going to be that excited about Dyllan if he goes.

Let me tell you something about my brain, its not awesome, there are many smarter people on here than me. Strategic thinking can never the less be an important skill when assessing risk.

i think you have a very good football brain and I respect you more than most in that regard. You have a lot of experience coaching. Strategic thinking is that something you see as a strength? BA has done a lot of coaching, strategic thinking was not a strength.

Of course a good coach will recognise whatever his shortfalls are and reinforce his personal weaknesses.

Our discussion should be never more than that. Big heads and necks shouldn't come into it.

                • Was referring to MW comments on my small brain Pops. Not you.

                  • same=same

.It can be hard not to react when your sockpuppet gets slapped

            • Moses also failed playing 7 also Graham don't forget that when he came back for those 3 games mid season we didn't do anything either.

Moses is on a reputed 1.2 per year aswell.

As much as alot are judging DB on his performances playing 7 ask yourself this did the team help or hinder his cause as Moses failed also this is conveniently put to the side.

As for not being worth the money that's what it's taking teams to uplift Brown nothing to do with what he's worth.

Parra are walking a thin line sticking to there guns which looks and sounds good to fans but what happens next year if Moses takes up his release cause and exercises it.Where does this leave the club. This stance they took with Brown could be our path to destruction from within and I has basically lit the fuse.
