Piggy and Wigan part ways

Mark "Piggy" Riddell and the Wigan Warriors have officially parted ways after the ESL club released Riddell from the final year of his contract. Riddell is now looking to link up with a club in the NRL.

I have always been a fan of Mark Riddell, but have always said that he would be a better player, if he was able to play more than 20 minutes without calling for the Asthma puffer and a chair.

IMO If we can secure his services it would give us that much needed go forward and experience up front.Only problem being ,Piggy wouldn't have P.J Marsh to back him up! Maybe a supporting role at hooker was what Daniel Mortimer was destined to do! Others have voiced it as their opinion lately, and i must admit I have been sceptical about DM moving to hooker, but it couldnt do any harm in our current predicament !

that try he scored when he played for us, jumped the fence and clapped himself. I think there was more to that - he really wanted a rest!
