  Where did you hear this? If the case it is dumb as Papali'i more likely the 6 for 2027. Only way this would be feasable is if Ryles sees Lorenzo as being ready for 2027. Even then it just is a nothing deal.

    Mind you broncos fans are pissed because now Coby black will be moving on as his path his blocked. So let's say Pezet signed long term at parra, dare say Lorenzo and Joash would be looking elsewhere as well. If Ryles thinks having pezet for a season can help us I'm on board lol

        If Lorenzo is the player that people keep telling me he is going to be, I have zero issues with keeping 2027 open for him. Get a full year of cup into him and hopefully he's ready

          3 months before the season end a lot of people were saying that about Lorenzo Eli, subsequently he was distinctly unimpressive in Cup.

          A full year in cup is not magic.....good players in his peer group are currently making statements in First Grade already. This guy is not a prodigy yet as is Pezet not a prodigy and frankly he doesn't look like one either.

          We do have alternatives coming through! or in turn proven 5/8's we can chase. Get Burton and its a whole new ball game.....the best foil for Moses you will ever see! If Hawkins had to play instead of Pezet I think you would be better off with Hawkins, especially if Burton was 5/8, he is more than capable of being the ultimate general (if Moses was not there for any reason).

    The Sandon Smith who is going to Newcastle to be a 14 or 9? The Sandon Smith who saw the end of 2025 in NSW Cup? He is an ok player and can develop further but seriously where was his name when before Pezet came up?
    
    Only comes up to knock the club.

      He's playing 7 for the knights. Sharpe is playing wing until Ponga leaves in 2027

        Lol why would Newcastle do that? Look i could be wrong but until Ponga goes i do not see them moving Sharpe from 5/8. He shoudln't move Sharpe.
