He is our current assistant and defensive coach. I wonder if his presence has had a negative impact on our team? If i remember correctly, this bloke left Manly almost in ruins and his stint in England was also very poor.
The question i have is how much influence does he have in day to day coaching matters? Should he be held accountabl for our recent defensive perfomrances? Yes, up until about 6 weeks ago we were one of ther best defensive teams in the NRL but our defence these days has become very ordinary.
I don't want to single out one person for the blame. I would just like to know if Ando is the man or do other people have a big say in how things are run on the football side of things, eg Sharp. If anybody has any knowledge about this topic, i'd like to hear your thoughts

We were the best when he was defensive coach under Brian Smith.
I often wonder if Anderson does that much.
Last year he admitted that he scrapped his game plan and let the players decide how they wanted to play.
Looking at Friday's game I would argue that we really didn't have any kind of attacking structure in the second half. It was as if we couldn't do anything with the ball and couldn't stop them when they had the ball. Prince cut us to shreds whenever he felt like it.
You can dig up all the excuses you want it still does not explain last years charge!!!
IMO plenty of issues have hampered the eels charge this year namely multiple lineup changes and chopping and changing of halves the side has struggled to find any sort of consistency as the side changed every week namely in the halves the team this provides no stability in the side period!!!
This is the very reason why its time to look for another coach.
