Hi Eels fans,
I found it interesting reading about that Penrith trainer who sledged a Souths player last week.
According to the article his name is Peter Green.
Isn't that the same bloke who was
stood down for some weeks by the NRL for his dodgy act in the Penrith
Parramatta preliminary final last year?
If it is the same bloke then his level of professionalism is questionable at least.
On another note. Have any of you noticed that the Penrith players never seem to get tired
in a game. They seem to able to put the same amount of energy into tackles late in the game
as they do in the early stages.
Their line speed never seems to fade also.
No other side in the competition matches them for this.
Are they dosed up on sugar before games or something a bit stronger?

With Penrith's line speed. Some of it has to do with the amount of work the back 5 get through. It keeps the forwards fresher in defence, allowing them to rush up and in turn dominate the ruck.
Yep it's the same trainer who stopped the game (eels vs riff) before he even assessed the riff player , who hurt his foot or ankle.. when we had them on the ropes.
a grub of the highest order
Also the same trainer that gave Mahoney a gobfull standing behind the referee, when Penrith were given a penalty. Loud mouthed Mahoney and gave him a wave away as well.
Yes saw that . He should be stood down . Addressing and sledging opposition players should not be allowed by officials. Especially in arms reach of the referee .
That trainer is a weak gutted dog
