Peatsy

Now I maybe living in wonderland with this, but does anyone else see Peats making a return in like RD 24 or something, It has happened before. When he hurt himself he walked off the field, if it was torn he wouldn't of been walking so I don't think that he will have as long of a stint on the sideline as someone who tore an ACL. Idk why but I just feel that he will come back with like 2-3 rounds to go and then finals for him

  • NO, he had a reconstruction, theres no way he will be coming back this year.

  • When I snapped my acl I was still walking. He won't be back this year.
  • " I maybe living in wonderland." Say hi to Alice for me, Liam.

    • i'll say hello to the Mad Hatter, oh wait im talking to him now

  • Hey Liam, The thing you need to understand about ACL tears is it's not so much the actual injury that will keep you off the field, it's the potential to sustain over injuries that will keep you off the field. The ACL pretty much stabilises your knee, and you can generally do light to moderate exercises, but when you're being banged around and doing explosive exercises you put your self at risk of many other injuries. He definitely will be out for the season.
    • I understand that, we all want this fantasy to happen unfortunately

    • On the range of knee injuries, ACL rupture is as bad as it gets. I did mine last year, had pain for 20 seconds, then got up & walked around for the rest of the day, thinking I has just jarred or strained it. After surgery you basically have to learn to walk again, crutches for 4-6 weeks, Peats will no doubt be getting daily physio, a luxury most people including myself don't get after injury, but whilst he would likely be confidently straight Line running by aug/sept he wouldn't be able to plant his knee and step or take any impact on it.

I'm 12 months post op and still can't get to my old top speed, kick a ball with the power I used to, or kneel down on my knee
  • LOL liam, i dont think anybody else has even entertained this fantasy of yours, you dont bring a player back from a knee reconstruction within 4 months, its just not or never going to happen, your not on the bongs are you liam lol ?

  • You are the mad hatter

    • Who's the white rabbit? I bag being the dormouse
