  • We have game breakers like Matterson and Carty why would we go for a bloke like Peachy.  I like BA but his addiction with one dimensional players makes it hard.

    • I wonder why he would go to Wests, where are they getting the money from. $350 from us with some KPI's should be enough for him to come to us.....assuming we were in the bidding line.

      • Makes you wonder just how pathetic our offer was doesn't it. I'd think anything less than 350k would be an insult . Maybe BA turned up wearing his Klan outfit again. He's been warned about thst so many times the big duffer.

  • Wow 400k? Good luck Tigers

    • I'd say he's worth every cent.  Can play a range of positions .

      • He's worth it this year. Will he still be worth it at age 31 or 32? The fact he's going to the Tigers is evidence that he isn't worth it. They're a club that has to pay overs. The only way he'll be worth $800k over two years is if he suffers no drop in performance and hardly misses any games. Possible, but unlikely for a player on the wrong side of 30.

        • He's played almost every game , every season since 2015 and this year was one of his best in a long time. Managed correctly I'd say he'd be pretty safe. If I was to sign a 30 year old it'd be someone with his fitness history.

          • BA and the Club are just after so called bargains.  Wonder what the hell we will re sign Dildo Brown for? The bloke is a myth! HIs stats this year are nothing short of disgraceful.

            • I'm more worried about waking up to news Guthersons signed a multimillion dollar deal.

              • Yep. Sometimes re-signing players quickly and without fuss is a sign the club bent over for them. That's not good for the salary cap. In a way, the drawn out negotiations for retentions (like Gutherson, twice now) tells me we have become good at it. Even losing Utoikamanu was a good sign. Should we have matched the Tigers' offer? Knowing them it was far too much.
