  • If Pauli Pauli has been released, I'm prepared to give the coach and club the benefit of the doubt on this - particularly given the strides we've made in recruiting since the end of last year.

Whether it's a judgement about salary cap usage and value for money, or a judgement based on attitude or performance so far - I'm comfortable with goind with the the club's judgement here.

  • Pauli is soft plain and simple! Very soft in the belly
  • I dont know if anyone seen it but it one of the training videos you can hear BA sounding frustrated with someone and you can see Pauli sitting near him, probably not happy with his attitude anyway. no loss
    • Ok so just looked at video again and he says "Good boy Pauli you talked yourself into doing it" but the way he says it is like Pauli was slacking off before hand
  • Looks like the rumours were right. Lots of changes for this season but I still think we r definitely a much stronger team with some good depth.

  • I remember when we didn't re-sign our last promising edge forward, Kelepi Tanginoa everyone was up in arms.

Now Kelepi may not have the natural ability of Pauli, but he was a harder worker than Pauli.

And look now, Kelepi is back on small change and will likely only pay for Wenty.

I hope Pauli fills his enormous potential but current indicators see him becoming the next she-rex.

  • He is training with the eels today. Gees it's hot !! And I am in the shade.
    • Where do the boys train and at what time?
    • Old saleyards next to Barton park. Times are a lottery I drive pat and see if they are on.
  • Whats the point of havin a decent backline if we hav the smallest pack in the NRL.

This means our backs won't be able to test themselves cause
we will never be able to cross the advantage line to get the opposition on the back foot.

Until the interchange drops to six having a smaller pack won't work.

I know the idea theoretically is that a smaller pack should have more energy at the back end of the game, but whats the point when that energy is being sapped from being pushed back to your own line every set of six till the inevitable try against occurs.

    Booyah.
