Parra's two year syndrome

I've been a Parra fan since I can remember but one thing I do remember is that Parra can never back a good year up, so I guess I should have been worried when my dad, who was around when Parra were winning premierships, said to me at the beggining of the season that Parra won't do well because of the two year syndrome, but all I could think was that we had an even better roster if anything, so I'm left scratching my head as to where it all went wrong this season. Hopefully we won't start at favourites next year, that always seems to help us play better.

  • Fact of the matter is when parra are favourites we are guaranteed to lose. I dont know how people havent caught on and started making money off this. We are a profit making business. Its as simple as when the odds are in parras favour bet against them. Who needs a job when you can have such a consistent income coming to you :(

Anyway, i agree with the 2 year syndrome, its been happening for a while. Maybe this year was a good thing so that it can take some pressure off us. Everyone always expects us to pull miracles out of nowhere and to somehow offload ourselves into a victory.
  • last year was a 3 month miracle this year proves it was a fluke.
