PARRA'S SIGNINGS

We have signed no one yet and it seems no one wants to sign with us. so can anyone tell me why we are having trouble signing  junior talent like Justin Horo. we keep hearing rumors of all these players who have signed or signing but the fact is we have got no one so maybe ozzy needs to look at he's recruitment  instead of he's coach.

  • the whole thing is a joke
    we look desperate
we cant sign up the young talent we have ( horo) even though blind freddy could tell he has been a standout all year
no one wants to come here
the whole recruitment thing is a debacle and embarrassing!!!
  • ozzy is on footy show 2day, will be worth watching
  • To make matters worse, just got a whisper that GROTHE is signing with the dogs. Some talk of SHARKS but not to be GROTHE a Bulldog in 2011. The parra club is leaking terribly these days.

Buying kids is OK, but we need a hard head or two to guide em.....
  • i didn't see ozzy thought i heard sterlo say he was on 2day sorry, did hear johns say newcatle when they mentioned horos name though .
  • hang on - how old is horro, 24 years old? how long has it taken him him to break into 1st grade? 6 years.

build a pack around some one that has played a handful of games off the bench - no thanks.
  • It seems as if they don't look after juniors. Mateo, inu, keating are all leaving because parra don't have the money to make an offer, but they can offer quade $500,000. Maybe other players see that just like we do. I'd be loyal and put juniors over rugby players. Yet again, the west has a bad reputation, maybe high profile players don't want to live in the west.
  • im think we are under the positive tree until we belt tigers so i will careful, if Mateo played like he did last week more often i would give him that money but he doesnt m8 and good luck to him 400,000 a season to be big to knock back, nice place to live ,team on the way up he's probably stoked! we cant keep em all, we produce alot of good juniors maybe Inu's money is going to Loko and Sio. The better sides in the nrl seem to have a superstar in the halves and we could probably use an upgrade in Keatings spot . I dont think Ozzy is going to bad just my positive spin.
  • there is too mush crap going on behind the scenes why would you want to sign with parra at present? the bad look we are getting from the papers would be scaring plenty of players off.

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "
