Parramattas next captain

With speculation that timmy is going to retire at the end of this season or the end of the season after that, i think it would be a good idea to get a view on who us supporters believe should be captain.

Ive got three men in contention and the following are in preference

1. Gutherson

2. Brown

3. Norman

Who do you think should take over the role

  • 1. Brown
    2. Mau
    3. Norman
  • I was going to say Norman, but given another year it could very well be Gutho.

    • The only reason NZ won that world cup was that Australia was coached by................................sticky
  • The dark horse id pick Jennings.

I dont think Mau is captain material.

I dont think Corey deserves it nor do i think he could handle the added pressure on his game atm

Brown could be a good choice down the track but i think its a bit early for him, VC or 2IC might be better for him

Gutho i think could do the job, hes got the stamina and energy, hes a good thinking with a decent footy brain it seems like, hes cool and calm under pressure and i think he could handle it, in fact he might even thrive on it.

    • Totally agree snake, The Guth is the man, he'd love ownership of the team, not to mention it'd help with his retention.

    • Jenko has credibility Snake; do you think he may be too quiet..?
    • I like the idea of jenko for a year or 2. And let someone emerge over the next season or 2 with real leadership skills who can represent club well in press conferences etc
  • I'm pretty sure Mannah signed a lifetime deal as captain. Even after he retires from playing, he will still be out there for the coin toss, and be sitting on the sidelines deciding whether on not we take a kick for goal when in range. His playing minutes will actually go up when this happens as he will be less chance of a HIA...

  • Hands down 'Captain Guth'..

    • Yeah like the time Brian Smith picked nathan cayless and everyone was saying he was barely a first grader and too one dimensional and small.

"Start Samrani either centre or wing. He smashed the sharks and the chooks. Was fast, tackle-busting and once he set his eyes on the try line it was curtains for the opposition.
I'd start him on the wing as not to disrupt Rusty and the combos set up…"
