Posted by Hindy's Hienie on November 21, 2011 at 2:48pm

Noticed this just appear on the news sites - it happened today in the trial of John Elias

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/footballer-says-he-lied-to-police-about-matchfixing-scandal-20111121-1nq36.html

Possibly this is the 'next scandal' that has been murmured about for a while?

"The writing is on the wall and others have said he has had his 'chances'. I also find it interesting that he is so well liked by many and does a lot for kids etc. this in itself is a bad look besides the fact Ryles gave him a chance following C'bury."
