Since you have all been Parramatta supporters, which is one player you wish the club either didn't let go or leave?. It doesn't have to be someone that actually played first grade for us either e.g. Paul Gallen who played SG Ball for us but didn't think he would ever get a go and left for Cronulla. For me it would have interesting if James Maloney stayed around as he went on to have a great career but he could never get a game with us.

Yep, these two.
Jamie Lyon yes for sure . We did get a lot out of him though by playing for NSW and Australia before he disappeared mid season . Pehaps the club ( coach ) did not do allow him some loose rope when Lyon needed it .
Did we really let Lyon go ...he wanted to go with Cleal. He had to sit out a year or so because we wouldn't let him go.
Jarred Hayne
I know he was going no matter what but he could have been anything.
Yes Jarryd best NRL / 1st grade player we ever lost, at least since our 1975 onwards grand final sides. To be honest to myself , although I have blue and gold in my genes going back to my grandmother and now passed on by me down 2 more generations ( I hope , they better win a GF soon lol ) , due to the long passage of time since winning a grand final I have doubts whether I would be following the eels today if not for Jarryd Hayne ...........,........,...,.,..................................................Hayne ( and I will not forget other Parra loyal champs this century like Nathan Hindmarsh ) greatly assisted our team to reach notable achievements in his great years with the Eels . Hayne rejuvenated my love of the Eels and made me so proud of my team having a champion like Hayne in our team . As a result I forgot the many bad years of struggled since 1986 .
I agree 100% Coryn and I might say we were to blame in that situation.
Remember at the time we were arguing about 500k for a winger and Snake was sayin he is going to the broncos, NRL and Mal Meninga did no one any favours keeping him in the game but I think with the right BIG offer he would have stayed for us. I know that BA found him asleep on a bench seat one morning where he had spent the night and virtually took over the personal maintenance.....if the club had the brains and a semblance of vision we would have paid over and probably still have him.
Here is an example of using vision in making financial judgements and imperative we did what we have done with Moses and Brown and hopefully shortly for Hopgood as well. I say this because I think the salary cap and media rights will explode with in the next few years.
I am prepared to say that if Semi Ramarda had stayed we would be talking about him being the greatest winger in Parra's history and that's going against one of my favourite ever players/wingers Eric Grothe Snr.
One of the things we do not appreciate with a player like him, was that he could destroy a lessor side in 15 minutes of rampage, effectively breaking their hearts and the game becomes a stroll. Unfortunately in our present guise we don't have anyone to do that and even the lessor side's become a bit of an arm wrestle with the resultant effort.
Those games we have lost against the lessor teams would not have happened with a destroyer like Semi.
A back three of prime Hayne, Semi & Sivo. Probably couldn't keep them under the cap. But strike across the park.
Agreed. Semi was unbelievable. He had the strength to bump guys, he had the speed to burn guys off in open play but he also had great balance to swerve in and out at top speed. He was also great in the air. He scored many tries from our own half and carried a very average side. As you say he was a game breaker that probably makes the difference in 3-4 games. You put him in our side last year we finish probably top 2 and get an easier path to the GF.
That time he ran over James Graham, scored a 60mtr try.
