Wouldn't be suprised if the announcement comes in the coming weeks.Postive sign is it frees up a lot of cash and finally good riddance.Cant keep overpaying a player that can't even crack first grade. His times up by the looks of it now:

Hoorah. Didn't know we were still alive in NYC! Anyone give me an update on how we've been playing (obviously pretty well?)
In a nutshell, it's been somewhat of an inconsistent 20's season.
Some really good wins, some bad losses and some games we should have won.
Made the finals in 4th spot, though.
Blew the Sharks out of the water in Week 1 of the finals. Noel Aukafolau was basically best on ground for shutting down Jesse Ramien.
Our attack did enough after that to win. Penrith this week.
As for consistent players, Ray Stone has been the man each week. Scored four tries playing at lock in Rd 26 and has been a tremendous get from the Tigpies.
As for Afualo, he was injured early in the year and Noel Aukafolau was his replacement.
Future superstar no doubt about it.
I've been trying to come up with an NRL player who Leleisiuao would be a duplicate of but can't. Maybe a cross between Tedesco's ability to beat someone combined with Josh Mansour's strength & stockiness
That's a good sign as obviously teams are aware of his abilities now, so they'll be marking him pretty closely.
Missing Dargan is going to sting...
And while I'm at it (and forgive me because I've had such little opportunity to watch any NYC this year) has Noel Aukafolau been the preferred second centre to Tui all year?
Wow, semi who?
The best comparison of an active player to Leleisiuao - not in every sense but in some, is Jorge Taufua.
They've both got stocky, powerful legs, that rely on sheer leg drive to make inroads and metres.
They both have a good fend, a good offload when need be and know how to create opportunities for themselves on the wing and to capitalise on swift plays from the halves.
Obviously, that's when Taufua was at his peak - given he's had some rough patches of late.
But it's the closest direct comparison in terms of a 1-on-1 winger.
I don't see the similarities between GL and Teddy either, Chief. Not sure how you reached that one.
