Parramatta has informed the NRL integrity unit after being made aware of photographs circulating on social media of rising star Isaiah Iongi.
This masthead has been sent photos of Iongi seemingly smoking a substance. After becoming aware of the matter, the Eels have contacted the NRL, as is required under the rules whenever a club suspects there is a potential integrity issue.

Parramatta officials have also attempted to contact Iongi, but have so far been unable to do so on Tuesday morning.
Iongi is considered a future superstar, nominated as one of the rookies of the year after a breakout season in 2025.
After playing just one NRL game for Penrith, Iongi has made the No.1 jersey his own at the club following the departure of Clint Gutherson.
Story updated: Eels have spoken with Iongi this morning.

Haha! Clever!
I am also concerned about the amount of Greenhouse gases coming from the fridge, as it has a poor 2.5 star rating...this can contribute to the amount global warming oops 'carbon' oops climate change in the atmosphere. Greta will be here soon via her boat and Gaza.
Sometimes you just gotto laugh
Ai gen
If PVL is consistent, he'll be doing everything in his power to make sure Iongi is playing round 1, I mean his M.O. is to have the best players on the field right?
I think just with all the context behind the release of the images and Iongi never really being in trouble should be no real issue. Stern talking to about it
MeelK that is the best point made. We have to remember that Iongi has no doubt visited some hospitals (Ronald Mc House). As others have said Poor Latrell got a week.....and yet this is an old image.
Zac Lomax visited a kid in Newcastle, he is a good bloke. So is Iongi PVL.
Here comes the blowtorch
Typical dramas all before season kick off! The never ending story! Looks like incense burning more than smoking anything! It's anothing story but as we all know the media loves anything that pull an Eels player through the mud
