Parramatta has informed the NRL integrity unit after being made aware of photographs circulating on social media of rising star Isaiah Iongi.
This masthead has been sent photos of Iongi seemingly smoking a substance. After becoming aware of the matter, the Eels have contacted the NRL, as is required under the rules whenever a club suspects there is a potential integrity issue.

Parramatta officials have also attempted to contact Iongi, but have so far been unable to do so on Tuesday morning.
Iongi is considered a future superstar, nominated as one of the rookies of the year after a breakout season in 2025.
After playing just one NRL game for Penrith, Iongi has made the No.1 jersey his own at the club following the departure of Clint Gutherson.
Story updated: Eels have spoken with Iongi this morning.

Considering this photo is old and released by a spiteful ex partner lol, I think Izzy all clear
Eli, let's be clear, there is no confirmation it was his ex that took them and the pics are old.
Still doesn't confirm if it is his ex. We are, like i was, speculating.
I'd be singing a different tune if he took this last week and some mates just threw it online 🤣
It's great it's exactly how JR planned it the integrity unit in amongst the club five minutes out from the season investigating one of Parra's best players. It's perfect preparation for a season just normal shit normal mistakes fark your only trying to end a a forty year drought. But carry on nothing to see here.
The pic could have been taken 5 year ago Coryn. Prove that its recent then you can complain.
5 years ago if that were true why are the nrl integrity unit getting involved then.
For all you know they could have been taken last week.
Prove that it isn't.
We don't need this distraction this close to the beginning of the season we don't that's the whole point it gives the media and there devoted more ammo to sling at the club.We don't need it.
By all reports, the photo was taken while he was at Penrith as it's supposedly come from an ex he broke up with before he joined Parramatta. The integrity unit gets involved as part of regular process and it's likely they and the club will establish the timeline of events and if any punishment is even required.
Outside of this, I think the NRL needs to begin looking at how it manages incidents of private information being leaked to damage a player. Essentially the way it's been managed in the past has meant it's open season on players at almost any time or place, even inside a private residence.
Yes that's what im hearing super. Coryn is jumping to conclusions with absolutely zero evidence it happened whilst at Parramatta. Don't forget he's only been here just over 12 months. So Coryn can cry all the way home because the integrity unit will get involved in any case like this.
