Parramatta has informed the NRL integrity unit after being made aware of photographs circulating on social media of rising star Isaiah Iongi.
This masthead has been sent photos of Iongi seemingly smoking a substance. After becoming aware of the matter, the Eels have contacted the NRL, as is required under the rules whenever a club suspects there is a potential integrity issue.

Parramatta officials have also attempted to contact Iongi, but have so far been unable to do so on Tuesday morning.
Iongi is considered a future superstar, nominated as one of the rookies of the year after a breakout season in 2025.
After playing just one NRL game for Penrith, Iongi has made the No.1 jersey his own at the club following the departure of Clint Gutherson.
Story updated: Eels have spoken with Iongi this morning.

Yes that's what im hearing super. Coryn is jumping to conclusions with absolutely zero evidence it happened whilst at Parramatta. Don't forget he's only been here just over 12 months. So Coryn can cry all the way home because the integrity unit will get involved in any case like this.
Just hope that it doesn't come back to bite us.
He left her while at Parramatta unless that was a new partner he had.
Seems to get around but the lad.
You provide evidence that it was taken while he was contracted to parramatta
If he gets fined, just keep him away from getting any advice from Matto.
To be fair, Matto wouldn't do this stuff. His body is a temple.
these days, he can just tell the integrity unit its ai lol
Let's imagine it IS marijuana. Latrell Mitchell got a one-game suspension for very visibly snorting cocaine off a table.
Worst case = one game suspension. But marijuana ie not cocaine, obviously. Nevertheless marijuana and cocaine are both illicit substances under NRL rules and prohibited in-competition, which I believe means "match days"? The pic cannot be shown to be a match day, we assume. Unlikely even in season? But even IF we say in-completion and marijuana, the NRL rules indicate 1st, 2nd and 3rd strike. A first strike is counseling and maybe suspended fine.
I'm calling nothing burger and only if V'Landys wants to help Storm by pressuring Eels will it be a burger.
Brandon Smith has received nothing for leaking team lists and setting up teammmates with coke, this should not be an issue hopefully.
