Not to be a vulture but Im going to put it out there....with the illness Belamy has been diagnosed ....is there a posibility there are to be major changes at Melbourne and Frank Ponissi might be looking for a change ?
If anything Ponissi would be more comitted to oversee any transition plan that comes in, which i'm predicting is gonna be Billy Slater. He won't leave Storm like that.

Great idea and absolutely he'd be amazing, but realistically he'd be taking Sarantinos's job, not O'Neill's.
Maybe he is going to run the super league in the UK.
