Parramatta currently have just 14 of their 30 roster spots filled for 2028, potentially giving them one of the biggest salary cap war chests in the competition.
Re-signing Jack Williams and Kitione Kautoga are understood to be priorities.
The Eels are also reportedly targeting BOTH Bradman Best and Jack Bostock.

kautoga a priority re signing?
am i missing something?
He's a priority re signing for reserve grade
Why we dont have a crack at Liam Martin does me
Kitione Kautoga 🤣
Ryles loves him but I don't think he's ever going to be a starting backrower, the guy gasses out after 30 minutes.
Will only ever be a bench middle unless his fitness dramatically improves
Lets hope bostock and best both sign, would be massive. I was a fan of kit kat, but I just dont see an elite player there. In certainly no food judge and so am probs totally wrong and he will prove to be a gun for us. I hope so.
imagine both best & bostock sign, what'll happen to the NRL world? lol
Kautoga has a Ford Ranger chassis + a motor from a Kia Picanto 😅😅😅😂
I've always liked Briton Nikora who we targeted 2-3 seasons ago if there was a back rower I'd like to add he's it.A perfect backrower for Moses runs the best outside in line in the comp and is a good defender.
Kautoga and Williams fit the athletic profile your looking for in a modern day backrowers though.
Kautoga needs to get a lot more professional with his fitness & handling. We can't have guys showing promise. He's had long enough to get used to the rigours of NRL football. His time is now or out for me.
Surprised they want both Best and Bostock. I mean great if so, but that's a lot of money for both.
As for Kautoga, it is so weird how they are constructing this squad. They claim to want to bring juniors through, but extend Williams and Kautoga, also bring in Su'A. Williams playing middle also limits the juniors coming through.
I don't mind Kautoga, but man he has a lot to work on. Some natural talent, but being hooked twice this year is still a bad look to me. Not that he can't overcome it, but I wonder if he has hit his ceiling as a decent back-rower.
