The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce the signing of experienced forward Jack de Belin for the 2026 NRL season, with an option in the Club’s favour for the 2027 season.
Parramatta Eels Head Coach Jason Ryles said de Belin will be a valuable addition to the team, bringing experience to a young roster.
De Belin has played 244 NRL games since his debut in 2011. He has represented New South Wales in State of Origin and made six appearances for Papua New Guinea, where his grandmother was born, playing a pivotal role in their victory in the inaugural Pacific Bowl Final.

JDB is a solid player, and assume this is an interim to get us through until some of our up and comers reach the level required, but gees, we should have enough money to siign at least two major signings. I am so sick of the bargain basement approach engrained in this R&R team.
You and every fan with an individual thought pattern feel the same about our bargain bin buy approach.
Maybe we should also be looking at Josh Kerr. He will add experience and backup in the forward's line
The fact he has been getting less and less minutes off the bench for a Dolphins team that has been depleated in the middle says a little bit.
Are we sure this is official? Still nothing on the official eels pages about it?
It's on the official Eels website, linked in the blog.
oh ok, my bad. question retracted. :)

Cmon bro. That picture was taken before he was exonerated by the judge. He's since looked very refreshed and is playing like a 26 year old
Hahahahah looks like Gary Freeman and Jack Debelin's love child.
