Yup went there a lot. Mostly Saturday nights. Thursdays & Friday nights were almost always the Fairfield RSL and Sweethearts to watch the bands. Some great pub bands back then. Noiseworks, Diesel, Baby Animals, Choir Boys, Boom Crash Opera, Barnes to make a few.
Come on Guys, what about the Leagues Snake Pit on a Thursday Night...best joint in town in its day. Only times it hit a low was when Penis Fitzgerald used to front up with Rabbits Warren and Ray Hadley when they wanted a pork.
Then there was Stallions, before it became Paradise. Bowden had to flog it because he fell on hard times and wanted to save his Stallions at Hurstville. All pre pokies in pubs. He would be a squillionaire now.
Then War & Peace, the Collector of Friday nights, the Buso's Club in Phillip St.
I'll go back further prior to Stallions there was an old pub on that plot with the nickname of "Dorries" an early opener and old tiled design. Cannot remember its official name though, someone help me out ?

"I did say maybe Wiz. Maybe he likes Ryles style. I did not definitively say Ryles will get best out of him more so if he met Ryles he might say yeah i want to be coached by him.
I said maybe as i have no idea at this stage, just an assumption."
