It was ok, i prefer more of an insight on the players themselves. Like Corey Norman had Isaac John do a video of their pre-season in 2017, it was raw and not overly produced, just them training and interacting. That was more entertaining as it showed the personalities in the squad.
Though will say, laughed that Cayless' only instruction was "Food is ready" haha, all that he is good for.
What I took from that..... certain players were chosen to sleep in beds whilst their teammates slept in tents, why? All the players are equal and should have slept in tents, team sport no individual's.
Someone got a room to themselves?, I must have missed that bit.
Ok then answer this....did all the players sleep in tents?
No, there was a group in tents and a group in the building, no individuals.
But why aren't they a team? Isn't it supposed to be a team do things together?
Just because they aren't all sleeping in the same comforts doesn't mean they aren't 1 team. If you believe everyone and everything should be equal then you should go live in a communist country where the government thrives on that illusion.
Some players are getting paid 10 times more than others, is that equal?, yet they are all expected to contribute to the success of the team. It's all about putting aside what each and every individual has or doesn't have and working for the good of all even if it's at your own expense.
The reason I am happy to see this focus on selflessness is because I believe it was selfish attitudes that lead to the poor season. This and lack of leadership are the two main reasons we flopped last season, the quality of the roster had sweet fuck all to do with the failure.
Thought Cayless had left the Eels coaching ranks! Most of the players I didn't recognise. Saw Moses, Brown, Russell, Lumelume, Simmons on couple other familiar faces but the rest didn't know
