How are we feeling after watching that demolition, still think the our boys didn't turn up after the loss? We played much better and than the Storm did tonight, we defended better and attacked better. I get the doom & gloom after a loss, and I definitely get the frustration, but Panthers have gone to another level this year so we just need to chill and make the other matches count best we can. I'm hoping last weeks game hasn't affected the team to much and they go into Monday's game with some confidence, or the Tigers will beat them.
Secretly hoping we get the Panthers after an Origin game and they rest a few players - they're looking so hot right now.

Nope they just join us lol.
I refuse to accept that. Our 50 point curse is now over 🥳
Haha fair fair
Points against Penrith.....Brisbane 0, Sharks 6, Roosters 4, us 20 and Melbourne 10. I like silver linings, our attack has been fine, defence not good, if we could sort that, we go places.
Unfortunately for us defence is, almost exclusively, what wins premierships. If you look at the development of most clubs it seems it's much easier to get a great defensive system and then ramp up the attack than it is to develop a great attack and then try to tighten defence.
It makes us exciting to watch, which is a bonus. And means lots of TV ad breaks which pleases VLandys.
But we won't climb the ladder on decent attack when our defence is the worst by a country mile.
Both Panthers and Melbourne had similar stats re: possession, completions, errors and infringements.
But Panthers had 10 linebreaks to 2 and 11 to 5 offloads.
Panthers just out-classed the Storm in attack. Ominous signs. It's basically Panthers first, daylight second at present.
Yes Panthers are impressive, top of the tree, impressive.
So do we pause to pay homage.
Or, find out their flaws.
They get more than their share of possession and capitalise.
Moses likes to punt the ball long, everytime, and when its caught un-opposed by Dylan Edwards on his 10 yard line he always returns it at least 20 metres, so nullifying the big kick and more importantly retaining possession. That relic of a tactic gets you nowhere cause soon they're on the rampage.
Edwards is a kangaroo currently and rightly so, but we've noticed he does'nt like having to fight for the ball in the air and can drop it.
Presto we get possession and they have to scramble. Makes the game more even, for a set at least.
Identify other flaws they have and use them to our advantage.
Play smart, upset their rythym
