Panthers put 50 on Storm, you love to see it!

How are we feeling after watching that demolition, still think the our boys didn't turn up after the loss? We played much better and than the Storm did tonight, we defended better and attacked better. I get the doom & gloom after a loss, and I definitely get the frustration, but Panthers have gone to another level this year so we just need to chill and make the other matches count best we can. I'm hoping last weeks game hasn't affected the team to much and they go into Monday's game with some confidence, or the Tigers will beat them.

Secretly hoping we get the Panthers after an Origin game and they rest a few players - they're looking so hot right now.

    • And they get a lot of repeat sets and penalties in the first 25 minutes. Their first 2 tries were from repeat sets and penalties

    • They suffocate. They get a lead early and rely on the opponents frustrations then capitalize on field position. They don't panic.

      • Refs help them to suffocate by giving penalties and repeat sets out of their own end

        • Or they are just that clinical? You can be given a lege up still need to capitalize. You do realise Penrith conceaded more penalties and got 1 more set restart than Melbourne right?

It can be a coping mechanism that it's the refs why they are so good, when in fact they are just that good.

          • Yep they clinically play to referees repeat sets and penalties 😂

  • Season has  ended and its April

  • Maybe eels weren't so bad, didnt see tonights game, but on face value, we scored more and clearly panthers head and shoulders better than everyone. Eels might be a chance v tigers. Win that game and we back on track. Just hopefully no more injuries!

  • I keep banging on how fucked the game is ........OK in the 80s it was just us dogs and manly  ............how good is the game now ?

  • The panthers are great, there is no denying it but boy do they get every decision go their way.

  • Thought we weren't that bad last week, we just looked terrible against the panthers. Can't remember a time where a team has been so far ahead of the pack. Perhaps not since us in 2001

I’ve seen enough of Apa Twidle — this kid is the real deal. Not just a solid NRL player in the making, he’s got genuine elite potential. Today proved it again. Two quality tries on the wing, then shifts to fullback and somehow lifts another level.…
