  I've heard nothing more - I'll follow up with the source tomorrow but I would doubt Osborne would say this, if he hadn't been given a pretty good indication this was the case. Sounds to more like they've had the meeting on Friday, worked out terms with his management but Barrett's probably made the decision to retire. If that's the case, it's a shame, he's playing too well and I think he'd have a good crack at going out in style if he went around one more time.

    mate, i doubted phill sources today but i was told by a couple of impecible sources of my own that a deal is done. I nthink Ossie is playing twidley winks with the media

  Yeh I just spoke to a mate who heard the interview, he reckons the way that Ossie said it was very non-committal and I saw in the other thread that John Gibbs has jumped onto the bandwagon. Glad you've heard same HD.
