Well, yet another day to sit in front of the TV tearing your hair out, yelling at the box, throwing pillows for knock on after forward pass after lost ball and for what? To come to the computer with a burning in your stomach like you want to punch the screen in! But its way less painful to vent on this site, than to try and explain to someone who clearly does not get your point of view.
This game was a letdown ito say the least. I mean you can give a little slack for the weather being so bad but in the end Parra was just out classed. The first half wasn’t much chop but then again I guess the whole game was like watching school boys footy down at the local oval! The only try of the game for us being set up by Krisnan Inu and finished off by Humble. Happy with the try but it frustrates me when I sat watching the second half wondering if Inu was already playing for the other team or had some doe on the eels to lose. He can’t seem to stay on the paint. I’m not sure if anyone in the sheds let him know he was playing on the wing. Added to that, I was trying not to close my eyes every time Humble in full back came close to the ball. I don’t know if it was nerves or what, but he didn’t pull it off tonight. I mean, what was he thinking throwing that ball, in goal, IN THE RAIN!! By the way, In my opinion I think Inu is playing out of position and it was good to put Humble in at fullback but like I said, he didn’t get it right. Maybe a better option would be to put Burt back in there due to the weather and a bit more experience.
All credit in the end to NZ they played well and we played shit!
ANYWAY, I have followed Parra forever and will keep on every week. Hopefully a bit more cheerfully soon!! I don’t know what needs to happen to get them on the mend but I’m sure we can still pull it off. The frustration pains have lessened now that I have got that out of my system. Hahaha, hope you enjoyed the read! We’ll get em next week.

Hindy did not turn up for the first 20 minutes of the game - what was on his mind to distract him so badly?
True to form he soon got into it and produced another solid leaders game.
Humble is not (at this stage) a fb. I was concerned at having him there and unfortunately he will be remembered more for his mistakes than his positive contribution to the game. He is far more effective in the halves or perhaps hooker.
DA is getting his selctions so wrong with his players that he has effectively killed off any chance we have for 2010.
Mort does need to be rested for a while in Wenty to further develop his game but it doesn't look like it will happen
Either DA knows something that no one else knows (including Mort) or he is out to destroy him.
Manakafoa was a surprise package (for me) as he has never produced at NQ as well as he did in NZ for us.
Pele was strong and can hold his head up after his debut. Look forward to seeing more of him.
Cayless also seemed off his game a bit.
Our supposed game plans over the last few weeks have been so out of touch with the conditions and teams we have played that they are down right scary.
Having the "worst attacking record" firmly in our grasp for this season I get the feeling that DA is now after "the worst defence" as well.
The team talks positive but it is what they are doing that leads me to think there are serious behind the scenes problems at the Eels that have derailed them.
Ozzy is way too involved in the goings on of the team to be healthy for them and DA is making nothing short of stupid decisions for a 1st grade coach who has taken 2 teams to the GF.
