Still have a few NYC and SG Ball players in the team which is good.
Edging closer and closer to a full strength side in the NYC and even though we are missing some genuine big guns in Goodall, Folau and Moeroa the only area of this team that you could be critical of is the back row. Even there we have one stand out player in Aloiai and some no frills hard nuts in Muna and Raeli (plus Fuimaono is currently in the centres).
Looking forward to seeing how the rotation between Kaysa and Joey plays out. Pritchard was primed for a big season after a strong showing in the Under 20s Origin but after his long-term shoulder injury Lussick has stepped up considerably.
I reckon we may see Lussick come on for Markus with Pritchard moving to a middle forward role, although with a long-term injury it'd be good to see him just play 50 minutes of football.
The backline is almost untouchable though, when we bring back Folau and Goodall I dare say it would be the best backline in NYC history. And it's good to see Twal keep his starting spot, he's a big boy for an SG Ball promotion, I'd say he's around 190cm tall and 105kg.
Here's hoping Pritchard can stay on the field and not sustain an injury.
It's been a barren run for him this year.
Good side overall but the back-row definitely needs some work overall.
If only we could have had our starting second-row pairing from this year, Pauli Pauli, and Tepai Moeroa. Those two right now would absolutely demolish NYC teams by themselves, add in Kelepi Tanginoa and those three alone would destroy all teams.
Back-row/lock of Pauli, Moeroa & Tanginoa would obliterate any NYC opposition.
Three of the most destructive forwards we've had in a long time.
Believe Tanginoa has been told he is surplus to requirements, if so why would we let such a good player go?
is kelepi injured again at the moment? he is not named in any team. he's starting to turn into loko, alot of potential nut alot of injuries
