  • Penalties both ways. Eventually Tigers get good ball. Eels slide and defend well. AMS about to take a player to touch before he throws it back into play. Tuilagi picks it up and draws a defender and offloads it to Papalii who runs 70m before getting tackle by Hope. Good chase. Few plays and a set restart later, eels shift right to Dunster who beats two defenders to score. 4-0. Lynn misses the conversion.

  • Briiloaint foooty!!!!. Off the kick off eels do a few one out runs. Than eels go right and Hawkins passes to Carty who cuts back in field. He roams across and throws a great pass to Tuilagi who passes it to Loizou. Lobb (tigers winger) appears to make a good tackle, but Loizou manages to get an offload to Carty who was keeping himself alive in the play by wraping around all the way to the left. Carty draws and passes to put AMS away who puts on the jets and draws the fullback to pass back inside to Lynn who scores. Conversion unsuccesful again 8-0.

Eels complete the set after kick off but Lynn kicks it out on a full

    • Eels force an error in the tigers set. Eels play some good offload footy. However, Carty tries one play to many as he has an error when trying to offload down the short side.

      • eels have a strong defensive set. In return eels have great yardage runs through AMS, Dunster and Papalii. The last 2 leaving defenders on the floor. Smally has a great run too and eels are couple meters short of the try line. However on the last Lussick goes himself and is tackled. ffs. 20min gone. drink break in this heat. Eels conceed a 10m offisde penalty immediately.

        • Eels poor discipline allowed them back into the game. Penalties and errors from the eels. Dunster did well to leap and defuse a kick and than beat the first tackles. However, the next defender managed to froce the error. Eels have to defend the scrum around 15m out from their line. Tigers go right and Loizou completely lets down the team. He comes in on thin air and leaves AMS stranded on a 2v1 as the tigers winger scores.

          • Tigers dont even manage to get to their kick on the set after points as they get tackled on the last. Eels bring on the changes as Guymer, Matto and Grieg came off for Latu, Parker and Mataele. Guymer was starting to struggle in defence and gave away penalties throughout the first half. Eels spread the ball right against a passive tigers lane and Hawkins dummies and takes a defender over the line to score.

            • Eels complete the set after points and AMS charges down to put pressure on the tigers fullback who drops the ball. Good work by AMS. However early in the set eels shift in right and I am not quiet sure what Hawkins was trying to do. From well infield he tries through a long spiral pass which goes straight into the hands of a tigers player.

              • Not to much happens for the rest of the half as eels repel a cross field kick as the HT siren goes.

      • Keep it going EA, I feel like I'm there. Great covering mate.

        • Sorry had some lunch
