NRL TOP 30 SQUADS OUT TODAY !

The 2018 NRL Official Information Handbook Season Guide hit the stands today.  As we know we only had 28 of the 30 players signed at the time the book went to print.  It is a very comprehensive book if you have not purchased this book.  From memory a 29th player had to be signed up to day and a 30th player has to be signed up by 30 June, if the clubs had not signed their full compliment of players.  My guess is that one of Salmon, Stone, Aukafolau or Lelesiuao will be upgraded and come into the top squad.

The new players in our top 30 squad at this point in time are:

Hayne

Williams

Evans

Davis

Niukore

  • Stone and Salmon if he swims upstream!

  • You would hope it would be Stone or failing that, Aukafolau.

  • If Davis is in our top 30, we have massive problems.

    • Why ?

Not every player in your top 30 is an elite player. Davis is talented enough to play in this league, he just hasn't found his spot yet. He's probably only on the minimum anyway.

    • Davis was a very good junior coming thru but now is an average back. If he wants to further his career I'd suggest he become a forward and has a big enough frame to end up around 115kg. If he applies himself, and with his skill set, he could become a good prop or backrower.

  • There is no doubt we are waiting and working on a rival club players
    • If so we signed a player today from another club as player 29 had to sign by today at the latest.

    • We aren't waiting on anyone
  • Bazza do tell of the rumors you're privy to....it may match my info, I do not want to just yet but its a friggen top notch
  • So BD what is the complete list to date

"LB, Eli, good stuff gents. We've acted in good-faith. By the book. With clean hands. Lomax appears not to. Still, equity is not unlikely to view an NRL-wide 3-year restraint until 31Oct 28' as overly-punitive and read it down.
We'd still win,…"

"I know i have said it before but Storm fans say we are being unreasonable and see no outcome in which we win this case. Despite all the released, that is still the belief. I believe in bias and backing your team but come on.
