Sack or sanction the NRL official and get him to apologise to the ballboy.
If this is the case the nrl offical should hang his head in shame. We are talking about a 12 year old boy who is probably a parra boy. I hope the team gets behind this young boy and gives him all the support he needs . I have a boy at this age and i could imagine how he would feel . To put that amount of pressure on young lads doing some thing that they love to do is so irresponsible .Imagine if that was a grand final.
That's deplorable. Poor poor kid. Feel sure BA and the players will contact him and let him know its not his fault.
I've never seen a play called back in that situation. Never. Blame the refs they have it against us.
Its official....the ball boy did nothing wrong & the refs had no right pulling it up.
The new rule states: “When a kick in general play and from inside a team’s 40 metre zone, finds touch (other than on the full) in the opposition’s 20 metre zone, the resulting tap kick restart will be awarded to the kicking team 20 metres in from touch opposite where the ball crossed the touch line, but no closer than 10 metres from the goal line.”
There is no mention of ball boys or where the ball must be retrieved from. Proof the refs cheated!!!
Stupid penalties??? Which of the first 4 penalties that gifted the Dogs a 12-0 lead were warranted? The Eels played their guts out but typical it didn't matter what they did the refs were never going to let them win.
