          • Nah BA is rubbish, they should not aim for rubbish to be replaced by rubbish.

        • Ever since Sheens left there has been some dumb calls here; Sheens for what it is worth had some nous and knowledge about him.

LB, i don't share the same view about BA and tbh I think he will struggle to get another role - but I am probably wrong. We had an aging roster from 2022 that was not sorted and too many forwards on high $$$

I iked BA for his loyally but he seemed too stubborn at times for me and it appeared from outside as though the players had too much say.

In less than a year we have seen more greenshoots than we have seen in years.

          • BA is still a good coach. I will say i am surprised that he has yet to get a gig and surprised he missed the Perth job. But he will get another job, his experience and ability to be likeable to work with boards etc. makes him an attractive hire for some clubs.

I wanted him gone too but BA is a good coach, maybe not a premiership winning coach but he can get a team to be a regular finals team. I know the GF was a fluke but bad coaches do not get a fluke like that.

He could learn from his old approach but even then with a new team his old message will be new for new team.

I am not here saying BA becomes Ivan Cleary in his next go round, but he can get a laughing stock to be somewhat relevant. Or he could go to Wests and fail and everyone puts their hands up saying what now as someone the calibre of Bennett would not entertain going to Wests.

            • Do we know that he went for the Perth gig ?   With NRL coaches on thin ice all over the comp, you'd think he will almost be able to have a pick of the litter at much better locations than fucking Perth very shortly.

Titans , Manly , Newcastle and potentially Dragons would be very high possible destinations before a balls kicked in Perth.  And then you have NRL clubs with worse locations than Perth but still closer to Rouse Hill like Campbelltown or even South Sydney should Wayne die or fall over wanking in the shower again.

Perths nice and all to visit, but would you really sign up to take that on unless you had no other opportunities on the horizon other than maybe the Claymore Tongan Tigers ?  I'm sure BA isn't that keen on driving Luai and Co around in a beat up old Tongan Taxi Torago with a boom box blasting for the next few years.

              • LOL Wiz....should Wayne fall over wanking in the shower that's gold hahaha

              • Ha, Wiz you should get to Macarthur Square mate; its more multicultural now than ever. I wish there were more islanders tbh.

BA's wife I think has family in the West. Not sure what will occur with him. There are a few clubs in strife and I think only more will be when we have two additional teams.

    • Pls let ther be video of this... please! 🙏🏻

  • Benji's walked into the perfect storm it's a club influx and like any coach he hasn't been set up to succeed. They been losing high class juniors hand over fist and are still doing it to this day with Galvin and now TDS.It's just not a club built on a solid foundation where any coach coming in will succeed. It's a poison challis of soughts and if I were Arthur I'd look and keep walking.

If the ex coach wants a job I'd be doing what Bup mentioned the other day and hang out for the Manly gig he has ties there he knows that place inside and out and they actually have a team which has been under performed for years. If you were angling for a job between Manly Newcastle and the Tigers the first mentioned is the one.Shitbold won't be there for much longer he's another guy that is a good assistant but head coach nope that isn't his thing.

  • The leaked club finances from last week showing how much each club makes per year was telling as well.

The Tigers were last in every metric. Corporate Hospitaliy for the year turnover $600K. The poor bastards are literally the poor orphans of the NRL.

'Overall The Broncos club makes close to $50 million each year to do with what they like for their footy program.

There are not many next Gen youngsters that would want to stay in an NRL system where long service only gets you a Beef Master BBQ, so to speak. Especially when the richer clubs come calling. The poor buggers literally are the poor paupers with the resources available in and around their football programs and resources. No wonder talented juniors in demand are leaving left right and centre. They just don't have the resources like other clubs  to give their juniors / players the best opportunities to succeed.

'This is where the Eels are sitting pretty ranked 5th on club finances.

    • We are ranked top 5 financially and we are still struggling to attract top tier talent on and off the park that's an issue we have to fix.
