No mention of Luai at all
Did they mention the possible downtown during Penriths try?
Yes, Annesley said the referees decision to award the try was correct.
Ok cool thanks. Not sure I fully understand the rule as of yet.
What a joke. It's like Rafferty's rules
Yeah he said it wasn't downtown as Yeo was trying to get out of the way
Thanks. As long as that's the rule going forward.
What a crock of shit . He made zero effort to get out of the way. Our players just downed tools as they assumed it was a penalty. Hopefully they learned a valuable lesson that is taught from your first day of training which is to play the whistle .
I thought the rule was if you're out of player, in front of the kicker and you continue moving forward you're downtown. Yeo was about ten metres in front of Cleary and moves forward to get out the road. So what is the Downtown rule?
Exactly , if you're progressing towards the ball that your own player is playing at, how are you trying to remove yourself from the play ?
he was an obvious distraction so it's just bad luck - no try , penalty every day of the week . Even my mates who hate Parra reckon we were hard done by here and the Gutherson " knock on " . Not to mention Luai not being dealt with .
