  • I just want to vomit....

I just can't see any better options.

a 47 year old kimmorley is just about the only option we have.
    • I would prefer Barret to Kimmorley, Barret can play 7 or 6 so if the long term plan is for Morts to play 7 than atleast you can swap morts and barret around during the learning process.
  • The scenario is this.....the puppies have signed both hodkinson & keating....trouble is ben barba is playing shit hot at 6 .....& will probably will be the 6 next year not fullback as many may think.... with hodkinson at 7 ....3 into 2 positions doesn't go....I reckon they have jumped to early on kk..... if we could snag kImmorley 4 a reasonable price...with could end up in front......
  • I'm with you Eugene but the bottom line is we MUST secure someone with ability.
Also that bit about Kimmorley replacing Johns has a lot of merit.
Noddy does have some drawbacks as a player but he has a very good tactical mind.
Barrett first choice but Kimmorley for sure if we can't get Barrett.
  • “He's a terrific player but I think someone mature outside of him or inside him would certainly help his game.”

This tells me that 6 or 7 is up for grabs, and, really, anyone with a bit or experience in either of those two positions are in their sights. If the Cronk deal isn't done - and the way Cronk is talking it sounds like it isn't - then Kimmorley or Barrett or an import will be it.
  • Kimmorley has been going awfully for the Dogs I don't see why he would represent a better option for us. Barrett is by far a better option.
    • Barrett is a much better option. We get Noddy its a slap in the face to a decades worth of 7s we have let go.

A true sign we have lost it. I am a DA fan but even I can hear the bells toll.

I dont like Stuart but we would be a massive chance of signing Tupou, Barrett, Fergusson etc if he signed. DA has nothing left and the side is in tatters for the next year by which Hayne will no doubt sign for GWS in the AFL leaving us with nothing
  • GOlling I think you may be overreacting a bit don't you? Get Stuart we get Barrett, Tupou, Ferguson?? I would love Barrett but I think he will retire. I doubt Ricky Stuart's position would have any bearing on his decision. Tupou?? Are you kidding?? He is on a long term contract worth squillions with the Sharks. He is a dud and he aint going anywhere. We don't want him. Ferguson?? Another boom youngster who's hype exceeded his talent.

As for Ricky Stuart, you must be kidding. The present caoch took us to a Grand Final last year and you now want to dump him for Stuart. He has single handedly fucked up everything he has ever touched.

Ask Sharks supporters. The only one they would want out of that lot is Barrett.

DA has nothing left, the side is in tatters and Hayne will sign with GWS???? Pull your head in mate. Things aren't that bad.
    • Tupou actually has a clause in his contract so that he can leave early if ricky stuart isn't coaching but he has said recently that he isn't going to use it.
      • Because he knows he is overpaid and won't get anywhere near the money he is on now anywhere else.
