        • In the history of the game has a player (or fan, for that matter) ever been struck by lighning? I was unaware it was such a pressing problem.

          • A few soccer players have died from this. Check on YouTube.

            • Fucking.Hell. This is crazy

Warning: video contains death. Don't know how it was only one

Can we stop talking about this now?

              • Don't worry Rango, lightening doesn't strike in the same place twice..............., though being a bright spark probably does help!

If the NRL was smart they would hand/ have everyone a "one iron" on the hill.....think how many lives PVL can claim he saved.

PS Badger, soccer fans don't count, they were probably hiding under someones skirt.....real men go bare chested in the rain.....and if we had real women on the site, they would too!

Hang on that doesn't make sense, our women are real......., how come they have bigger balls then the men?

      • Yeh.... but nah.

You will categorically NOT find Randy in an open field with metal goalposts at each end....Nope...nah-ah.

How close have folks been to a lightening strike? It is quite memorable...you put it in your notebook

  • Lot of people on TCT are complaining about JDB. Yes he struggled a bit in attack which is natural since it's his first ever game for us but defensively I thought he was great

    • lol they complain cause he is not Payne Haas. What they don't realise is his minor details in attack by being the link man and in defence where his 2nd man in efforts were fantastic was the difference. He is there to set the tone in defence. Thats his main job. He was pretty good last night, particularly for a soon to be 35 year old.

      • Now we all love Russell, deservedly so, as he's improved every facet of his game, and as a bonus he now feeds his winger

      • Agreed, JDB is still a quality defender.

        • Yep, he wasn't bought or has ever been used as an offensive forward....we have him tightening our defence in the middle of the ruck! The fact that he has learnt some nice ball playing moves, just adds to his overall game.
