No better ones than Cleveland or Detroit in that scenario. Jacksonville heading towards that too.
Don't be cruel trying to get him to support the browns you evil, evil man lol.
The lions have been good the past few seasons.
Washington commanders are looking like contenders for the next few seasons.
Washington are the team to watch in terms of was 2024 a fluke or not.
Someone has to support Cleveland and watch them play in the factory of sadness.
Be a Jacksonville fan, not sure they even have any.
Been supporting the 49ers since 1982.
The 81 superbowl which was played in 82 was on TV, more than likely extended highlights a week after the event. It was between the 9ers and bengals, luckily for me it chose the 9ers to support and they won so been a 9er ever since. Thank God I didn't choose the bengals.
The bungles you meant HKF.
Super Bowl XXIII in 1988 between San Fransisco and Cincinnati, love it how Sam Whyce the Bengals HC was an understudy to Bill Walsh who was 49ers HC. A few years earlier they took Eddie Brown, a Wide Receiver Walsh wanted and he settled with Jerry Rice at pick 16.
Eddie Brown was a decent Receiver who never quite hit the heights many expected, Rice went on to be the greatest Receiver of all time, a 1st ballot HOF, 3x SB Champion, SB XXIII MVP and currently has the record for most consectutive years with 1,000 yards receiving, 11 years, tied with Mike Evans from Tampa Bay who got it last year and is going in this year to break it.
I don't follow the NFL closely enough to know the players or the strength of rosters. I do monitor the betting prices for each week's games as well as the futures markets. I follow the Cowboys and have developed a liking for the Lions recently due to their growth over the past few years.
Although the Cowboys lost to the Eagles today, they were the biggest outsiders of all teams in the 1st week. Losing by only 4 points wasn't bad considering they were getting as much as 13.5 points at the line.
On another note, how good is the Netflix doco, America's Team?? Even if you're not an NFL fan but a sports fan, I recommend you have a look at it. It's definitely one of the best sporting documentaries I've seen.
It's worth deep diving Slippery.
The nfl has basically changed the way I watch and partake sport on and off the field.I swear the off season with the draft free agency the salary cap and other things hooks you.
Structurally most sports down this end of the world are following alot of what's been happening in the nfl for decades.
This shows up in how teams watch film and analysis especially.Analytics and alike.
The NFL season never really ends, you have the combine then the draft then rookie training camp, mini training camp, training camp, pre-season games then the real season starts.
I watch nfl content on YouTube every day of the year.
It's why they are a billion $$$ enterprise they are they know the science of keeping themselves relevant during there off season.
I mean what other sport in the world attracts 70,000 spectators to a draft process of which they are just picking players. What makes it more ridiculous is the sport for the most part is insular within there borders.
I mean again what sporting body happily writes cheques to 32 teams for 250 mill plus yearly it's out the gate how much and how good at money generation they are.
