Next week vs stmerge

I was pretty impressed by dragonqueens on the weekend and the way their forwards played, is anyone worried we will lose or is everyone confident we can take them pretty easy? I hope we get vave back this week cos I think we need the extra size, frank only played 15 minutes at the end and the rest of the bench doesn't really bring much size more so skill and hard work. Also just watching manly parra reply again and I noticed every time dce tackled mau he would slap hand away or push him or something aggressive after the tackle, his done it last few years also, I love it it cos I can't stand Dce

  • Be tougher then we thought but i feel were good enough to get pver them.
  • Saints have a bit to prove i think and coach under pressure- i was glad they beat Penriff well. Cartwright may have had other things on his mind...

  • The past few seasons the Dragons always start strong, to the point where they're almost unbeatable. Then after around round 7 or 8 something happens to them and the wheels completely fall off.

Based on our performance and their's this round i'd say Dragons by 14.

We'll get better as the season progresses though.

  • Parra by 8
  • Yeah I dunno actually, it's tough to say, realistically we are a better side, but the Dragons almost always start red hot with all guns blazing, but In saying that, I think our patience and bruising defence will get us the win. Eels 16 Dragons 10.
  • It will be another bruising middle of the park affair...I think the pamfers rolled over with Merrin way off his best...So if we can repeat our commitment like against manly we should make McCrone etc back to what they are...Average footballers
  • They are all tough games and St George play hard for their first few games.

I believe with a couple % improvement and solid defence, we can beat them.

But Im not sure there will be any easy games this year.

  • Penrith were awful. They conceded some very very soft tries in the middle third. I can't see us doing the same which should put us right in the game. We will take it to their forwards. A big round 1 win isn't always a great thing as we would know from 2013/14 years when we flogged the Warriors. Dragons are ripe for the picking IMO. If we defend well it will be a low scoring game and we should hopefully be able to outlast them like we have done to many teams over the past year. Interesting game.

  • Get a life? That's a nice thing to say mate. How am I backing st George. Sorry mate but you're a dickhead
  • We have much more upside than they do & they don't have much pressure on them when Penrith refused to tackle. Let's see how their playmakers react when they are behind on the scoreboard or all square
