The Eels have announced three new signings to their 2019 squad, including Shaun Lane, Maika Sivo and Andrew Davey.

Lane has signed a two-year deal with the club after stints for the Canterbury Bulldogs, New Zealand Warriors and Manly Sea Eagles.

The 23-year old joins Parramatta after an impressive season at Manly, where he was the equal leading try scorer with nine tries from his 24 appearances.

Sivo comes also joins the Eels on a two-year deal after spending last season on the Penrith Panthers Intrust Super Premiership NSW Side.

The Fijian winger crossed from rugby union to rugby league in 2015 and recorded nine tries from 13 appearances this season.

Former Eel Junior Paulo returns to the club after three seasons for the Canberra Raiders, having signed a four-year deal with the blue and gold earlier this year.

The Eels also confirmed that premiership-winning Rooster Blake Ferguson will join the club for pre-season in late November.

  • Looks pretty grim so can not see us improving next year unless we get some good assistant coaches to help bushie.

  • Wow!! Look out rest of the comp here comes Parra.

  • Not looking great Al, sorry couldn't bring some good news.

  • If BA doesn’t get punted sometime in 2019 for the debacle that is Parramatta, the club should just fold cause they aren’t being serious about competing and they certainly aren’t looking like trying to stop the premiership drought.

  • FML

  • Great news ! Some good signings the Eels are now definite top 4 side for 2019! Come on footy season!

  • We still need an experienced dummy half and another barnstorming representative front rower in my opinion.
  • I think Davey will be a good signing supposedly he a tackling machine
  • OMFG... I can't believe we actually got Andrew Davey!  He played for the Blackhawks!!
